Sustainability

Creating Better Products, Responsibly

At QUOQQ, sustainability is not a separate initiative—it is an integral part of how we develop, source, and deliver products. We believe that responsible business means considering not only quality and commercial success, but also the impact our products and supply chain have on people and the environment.

By working closely with trusted manufacturing partners, selecting responsible materials, and continuously improving our processes, we help our customers build product ranges that are both commercially successful and more sustainable.

Responsible Sourcing

Strong products begin with responsible sourcing. We carefully select manufacturing partners based on their capabilities, reliability, ethical standards, and long-term commitment to continuous improvement.

Rather than constantly switching suppliers, we build long-lasting partnerships with factories that share our values. This enables greater transparency, consistent product quality, and better collaboration on sustainability initiatives, innovation, and compliance.

Ethical Supply Chain

QUOQQ is proud to be an amfori BSCI member, demonstrating our commitment to improving working conditions throughout our global supply chain.

Where applicable, we work with suppliers that participate in the amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) programme. Independent BSCI audits evaluate factories on key social responsibility criteria, including:

  • Fair working conditions
  • Health and safety
  • No child or forced labour
  • Fair wages and working hours
  • Environmental awareness
  • Ethical business practices

These audits help ensure that our manufacturing partners operate responsibly and continuously improve their social performance.

Smarter Packaging

Packaging plays an important role in reducing environmental impact. During product development, we actively look for opportunities to minimise unnecessary materials without compromising product protection or retail presentation.

Our packaging principles include:

  • Reducing the use of plastic wherever possible
  • Eliminating unnecessary packaging components
  • Optimising packaging dimensions to improve transport efficiency
  • Using FSC®-certified paper and cardboard for packaging materials wherever possible
  • Designing packaging with recyclability in mind

Small improvements across thousands of products can make a significant difference over time.

Product Safety Comes First

Sustainability starts with products that are designed to last and manufactured safely.

Every product we develop is designed to meet the applicable international safety standards and regulatory requirements for its intended market. Throughout development and production, we focus on:

  • Safe material selection
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Independent laboratory testing where required
  • Consistent quality control
  • Continuous monitoring of production quality

By investing in safety and quality from the very beginning, we create products that consumers can trust and that retailers can confidently offer.

Continuous Improvement

Sustainability is an ongoing journey. We continuously evaluate our products, packaging, suppliers, and manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Together with our customers and manufacturing partners, we strive to develop products that deliver lasting value — not only for retailers and consumers, but also for the people who make them and the world they are made in.
